Before starting, be sure to have your backup file handy. This is a small file included with your welcome email. It is usually called 'WiFiShieldSettings.bin'

 

1. Go to the router admin page by typing the WiFiShield address into the address bar. It's usually 192.168.2.1 but check your welcome email to find the "Local IP Address"

 

2. When the control panel is shown, click on the 'Administration' Tab. You'll need to enter the router username and password from your welcome email.

 

3. Next, click on the 'Backup' tab

 

4. Under 'Restore Configuration' click on 'Choose File' and locate the WiFiSHhield backup file. Click Open. The file name is then shown next to the 'Choose File' button.  

 

5. Click 'Restore' and the WiFiShield will be returned to its original configuration and rebooted.
